And all this is being done, if you believe the ATT propaganda, in the name of more choices for consumers. The truth is the larger telecoms want to gain by legislative fiat what they were unable to obtain in the marketplace. They don't want to compete, because they are tied into copper wires and want to milk them as long as they can and IF they have to compete in the marketplace they want an edge up.
