Here's One Solution To Make Wal-Mart Pay Fair Share of Associates Health Care

Leave it to my friends and family in Maryland to come up with a solution to burdening taxpayers with subsidized health care costs from Wal-Mart's poorly paid employees. The Democratically controlled legislature in Annapolis has passed a law that requires Wal-Mart to pony up.

Of course, the Republican governor vetoed the measure, but it didn't matter. There were still enough good Democrat votes in both the Maryland House and Senate to override.

Here's the story from my old friends at the Baltimore Sun.

And yes, even CNN has the story. See it here.

Now, what are the chances of the Republican controlled Michigan legislature doing the same thing?
