I'd like to thank my neighbor for alerting me to this vote so I can vote in favor of the millage.

This millage will cost in a year it about what it takes to fill your gas tank, assuming you live in a modest home with a large vehicle (pretty common?).

I never understand people who are always opposed to raising taxes. Age old argument, I suppose. I'd like to see these anti-tax folks do without any public services whatsoever for a while...Orphttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13381038239443751464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11243268.post-59348835514041244952008-05-05T09:27:00.000-04:002008-05-05T09:27:00.000-04:00I will never understand how people can be opposed ...I will never understand how people can be opposed to a decent library.

I came to Mount Pleasant from Champaign , Illinois. They had a much better library, and finished expanding it after we left. Even though I would never get to use it, I supported it as I could.

I can't well afford more taxes, but I will pay them for decent services, such as a library. Our present library could be so much more and serve more people.

Support the millage!xunil2http://www.blogger.com/profile/02971621258641182930noreply@blogger.com
